⚡ SCROLL X — WHEN THE LIVING CORRIDOR CHOOSES

Where Motion Gains Intention

The Living Corridor stretched across the ember‑obsidian district, its surface rippling with quiet, muscular motion.
It had awakened in Scroll IX — but awakening is not the same as choosing.

Now came the moment of intention.

The Ember Colossus pulsed.
The Pressure Warden compressed.
Their dual‑rhythm echoed through the Shrine like a ceremonial drum.

Pulse. Compression.
Radiance. Density.
Voltage. Gravity.

The Corridor listened.

Its sigils flickered, then brightened, then aligned into a single flowing pattern — a script not written by hands but by resonance.
The sigil‑smiths gasped as the symbols rearranged themselves into a coherent directive:

SEEK THE SOURCE OF UNWRITTEN SPACE.

The Corridor shuddered.
Its length contracted, then expanded, then twisted toward the far horizon — toward a region of the Shrine that did not yet exist.

A place of blank mythic potential.
A place waiting to be claimed.

The Colossus felt the shift first.
Its chest sigils flared, voltage rising in anticipation.

The Warden felt it next.
Its density deepened, anchoring the ground as the Corridor prepared to move.

Then, with a slow, seismic motion, the Living Corridor slid forward —
not walking, not crawling, but flowing like a massive, ceremonial serpent of stone and ember.

The ground parted before it.
The air thickened behind it.
The Shrine adjusted to its passage.

The Corridor had chosen its first destination:
the Unwritten Expanse,
a region of pure mythic possibility where no structure, no law, no rhythm yet held sway.

The sigil‑smiths recorded the moment in trembling strokes:

THE SHRINE HAS GROWN A WILL.
AND ITS WILL SEEKS THE UNWRITTEN.

The Colossus and the Warden watched in silence as the Corridor vanished into the horizon, carving the first true path into the unknown.

The Shrine was no longer merely forming.
It was exploring.

Scroll X ends.
