my girl bsf asked me not to complement any girls?

so i have an online friend iam 18 male and she is 16 female i knew her since 2022 we had a bigger friend group at the time. anyway, a few days ago she tells me to not talk about girls with her at all and i get upset but eventually agree to it and we get back to the topic again and she explains that she meant to not compliment girls like sending a girls photo and saying that she is beautiful or anything like that but she is fine with me talking about my ex or my girl friend that i knew in the past.

I'm confused to why would that matter because she knows that she is the only friend i have had in a while and i don't talk to anybody else except her and she is the only one i talk to about everything including talking about girls, and to be clear there is no romantic feelings here.
