I built a budgeting app because my monthly spreadsheet cleanup was driving me insane

I’ve been tracking my spending with spreadsheets for years.

But every month I had to clean transactions, categorize things, and remember upcoming bills. It always turned into another small project.

So I built Spendcal.

Most budgeting apps show dashboards.

Spendcal shows your spending directly on a calendar so you can see when money actually leaves your account.

Some things it does:

- calendar view of all spending

- automatic transaction categorization

- recurring bill detection

- monthly budget + trend view

- CSV import from bank exports

It’s still early but it’s already helping me a lot personally.
