What is with the match making delays in this game?

I just don’t get it.. sitting here still waiting after 10 mins trying to load up a custom conquest game with firestorm/mirak/Eastwood. I can pick the same selection on off peak times (ie middle of the day) and load into a game almost instantly.

I am at top peak Saturday morning play time and sitting here like an idiot. Why does it take SO LONG to load into a game at a peak time? I had 10 quick mins to boot Into a match before heading out. I have given up after waiting the entire time without even loading into a game.
