I-270 ramp meters are terrible!

The ramp meters for the local lanes on I-270 just went "live", and they are atrocious. They are causing MASSIVE back ups on the roads feeding onto the ramps. It's also causing really bad behavior by drivers with folks cutting around the lines and ignoring the lights altogether. The commute is getting worse- NOT better- MoCoMD. It is becoming unbearable. Entering the local lanes from Montrose Parkway and north leading to the I-370 were just fine- as I was driving on the local lanes every single day.

Did you actually do a study of the impact of the traffic beyond what it's doing to the main lanes of 270? Traffic on 270 looks to be unaffected once commuters finally get there. Please fix this! I'm happy to provide additional feedback as necessary.
