Can a photon be a continuous line?

Maybe this should be in the metaphysics sub? So, I was watching a Richard Feynman YouTube video and he was explaining that photons do not experience time. A photon leaving the sun and coming to earth did not and does not experience time, so it is in both places at once. (geesh i do not like this kind of science that does not make sense to me) anyway is the photon also 1/2 way between earth and sun? 1/4 way? or at any point an observer is?
