Buying vita 1000

Hey guys tommorow i might trade in my switch light and get a ps vita 1000 to play some games on as its beats hauling my steam deck evry where

Im aware i will proberly have to buy a new battery as im sure the battery is shot to bits due to the age

Before i do just want to ask what are your guys positives to having the vita, i had a vita slim a few years ago and jail broke it which i plan to do with my vita also

So aside from the games that are free what else are positives

Is it hard to put media on there like my favourite series ive torrented?

Is the screen as good as a modern oled? Are there any issues i may run into that i need tk fix?
