Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

I’m just looking for other people’s experiences with PID. Several months ago, I found out that I had chlamydia for at least a year. I was treated when I found out, but now I’m really scared that I might’ve developed PID. If anyone here had PID for a significant amount of time, were you still able to conceive? If anyone here had PID and it caused your infertility, how long did you have it? My main concern with this is having gone so long without knowing and I don’t know how much damage it might’ve caused. I made an appointment for an ultrasound to try to get a definitive diagnosis, but the earliest appointment I could get was 2 months out. Any commentary is appreciated.
