Back function activation when swiping down from the top right

When I swipe down the notification bar from the top right corner whilst I have an app open it triggers the back function making the app go back a page. I have looked through all settings and tried toggling a couple options back and forth but nothing seems to address this particular issue.

Does anyone know how to stop this, it's really bugging me :/
