Reliability of (precessed) Lunar Return to Sun Charts: many event study, showing stunning angularity.

I put forth that the Lunar Return to Sun chart is just as reliable as the normal Lunar Return chart. Here, I have relatively blindly chosen an example chart with quite a few events; so we will find what we find researching this together.

For each event, I will cast the lunar return to Sun or demi-lunar return to Sun; so that the return will always be within 2 weeks of the event.

The first main event is the conception of a child on Oct 2, 1961.

Here, we see LR Venus-Uranus at the Ascendant. This indeed, was the period when she began a peculiar and sudden (Uranus) illegal relationship (Venus), wherein she was 17 and he was 26. This led to a conception of her first child (LR Node conjunct natal Moon).

The next event is the birth of a son, resulting from the above conception.

Here we have LR Sun conjunct Mars, as well as LR Pluto square Ascendant. This is right for a completely transformative event, where some key male (and here, surgery) are highlighted.

Here, we have LR Mars and Uranus right on the Midheaven and IC, respectively. LR Pluto lines up with her natal Venus-IC conjunction.

Here, we have the demi-lunar return to Sun, for when she got married.

We have LR Moon at the IC, natal Sun at the Midheaven, LR Venus at the Descendant, and natal Node at the LR Ascendant. This is perfect for a wedding! The LR 8th Jupiter opposing natal Moon is interesting, not just in the geographical move that came with it, but with the security and increased ability to have primary needs securely met. Her husband was making roughly $290,000 per year (in 2026 dollars).

Again, you can see the technique shine at the event of the death of her ex-husband.

We have LR Pluto at the Midheaven, LR Saturn at the Descendant (the exact symbolism of separation combined with partners). Natal Neptune (mournful reactions, etc.) lines up with LR Descendant as well, with natal Mars at the LR IC. The almost perfectly aligned LR Saturn and natal Neptune at the Descendant couldn't be more relevant.

Here, we have the lunar return to Sun for the death of her youngest child.

We have LR Nodal axis aligned with the Midheaven/Imum Coeli axis (usually an arbiter of a major event) and here, aligning with natal Ascendant/Descendant axis! It is to note, the LR Mercury-Neptune opposition lining up with the natal Venus-IC conjunction.

Here, we have the lunar return to Sun chart for her own death.

We have LR Pluto right on the Midheaven, with LR Uranus right on the Ascendant. LR Saturn aligns with natal Moon.

Even though it is after her own death and the lunar return charts are locational, I still felt that this chart, for the death of her middle son, would be valid as 1) this is the location where she died, and 2) this is the location where the event transpired. You be the judge...

Here, LR Ascendant is aligned with the natal Venus-IC conjunction! LR Neptune is angular at the Ascendant. Natal Saturn is tightly square the LR Ascendant. This suggests love (Venus) and family (IC) front and center (LR Ascendant). There is some mournful quality (LR Neptune conjunction) and relates to some fundamental separation, heaviness, or loss of life/property circumstance, etc. (natal Saturn). LR South Node opposes natal 5th.
