Minor complaint: track lengths

I was talking to a friend about this last night. I was telling him how annoying it is when I’m listening hands-free and a song ends and the lead singer talks for 1-2 mins afterwards. A lot of times, I’m cutting grass or working and can’t stop to skip to the next song, so I’m stuck listening to post-jam jibberish from the singer. My friend pointed out what’s worse is when, after the song, the singer says something like, “this next song is off our new album” and then it skips to something unrelated if you’re on shuffle.

I may be in the minority here, but I would enjoy the app much better if the songs were edited in a way that cuts out the in between the songs ramblings from the bands. As I’m typing this, however, I realize this would take away from whole-album listens, where the talking in between songs makes sense, but on shuffle it’s kind of annoying.
