Sup-01 case good?

Question

I’ve always liked the idea of graphics card and CPU coolers being a separated and ever since I saw the corsair 5400 rs case it was a dream but that dream isn’t coming true because I didn’t like the case as much as I thought and recently sent it back. It was way too big and just had a lot of things that weren’t practical besides the separated CPU aio compartment.

So now upon watching a video by Jay I just stumbled across the sup-01 case and on Amazon they’re going for $90 and as of right now I’m absolutely stunned by the design and the GPU being upfront, but there is a couple curious questions here before I get this.

I am using the Arctic freezer pro three 360 mm paired with a 5080 gigabyte gaming OC

- regarding the GPU being upfront, I’ve read that it should be mounted to the furthest back slot out of the four provided or rather not be very close to the front mesh to provide a increased reduction in temps.

- I’m very conflicted on the orientation of the AIO and the other three provided fans on the side of the case. I’m not sure if the AIO should exhaust or intake but it seems like the best thing would be to have intake for AIO so it gets fresh air, but I’m concerned about the hot air getting into the case and affecting other things.

- if the AIO is intake in the fans next to it set to exhaust, would this just circle the heat around? In Jay’s video he had the AIO intake in the fans next to it exhaust.

- if the rear fan is used on the bracket in the back, should it exhaust or intake? I was thinking intake but I’ve seen mixed opinions about this.

I really want to love this case. It seems perfect for this concept in my mind of having CPU/GPU away from each other. Especially with the GPU getting fresh air at the front of the case.

Thank you for anyone who can help me!
