Lack of product (UK)

When it comes to Pokémon cards, it seems like us Brits are getting the short end of the stick. Restocks are non-existence if anything once a month and when a new set drops you're unlikely to ever see another booster box or ETB of that set unless it has been listed online for double/triple the price. This isn't another post to complain about resellers, more to question why there is such a lack of product on the UK market.

A good example of this would be the Ascended Heroes release. So far I have only been able to get my hands on a sticker set and a mini tin which I was invited to buy on Amazon. Since then, nothing. Every store I go into says they're expecting a delivery but not for Ascended. It seems like even major stores over here are struggling, not getting stock weeks apart. I'm not sure if we are limit to one distributor in the UK, or if there are multiple, but I'm trying to make some sense on why this is happening.

And I thought I would be able to complete my White Flare deck... but it's been a good 5 months since I have even seen this set on the shelves.
