Prices in Shanghai for tech and photographic products

Hi everyone,

I’ll be in Shanghai in about a week and I wanted to ask whether tech products and photography gear are actually cheaper there compared to Europe.

I’m mainly interested in things like cameras, lenses, accessories, audio gear, gadgets, and generally tech products that offer good value for money. I’m not necessarily looking only for luxury or flagship items, I’d also love recommendations for places where I can find smart buys and reliable value products.

So I wanted to ask:

•Are prices in Shanghai usually better for tech and photo gear?

•Are there specific malls, districts, stores, or markets I should check out?

•Are there any places known for good deals but still trustworthy?

•Anything I should avoid, especially regarding fake products, warranty issues, or tourist traps?
