First rain in the garden

This one was short.

I woke under the white tree once again. This time seraphim was waiting for me. Just sitting next to me watching the rain.

It was a mixture of white/gray/green here. With a slight fog around the white flowers. The white butterflies hugged against the tree, some all over me like a blanket, while a small batch continued to work.

I stared up at the white tree leaves, mesmerized by how the rain gently collided with them.

“It’s beautiful…” I mumbled and leaned against seraphim.

“Indeed… it’s a first.” Seraphim replied.

I said nothing more and slept. When I awoke it was sunny for most of the day. Then suddenly we got a thunderstorm out of nowhere and I couldn’t help but think “it always rains whenever I think of it…”🤪

But it really was a first rain in the garden. I wonder why?
