HOW TO USE AI TO CHECK YOUR PAPERS

Advice:20:

This is free, dont worry. I have checked >15 papers this way
I would highly recommend Gemini Pro or Claude Sonnet 4.6 extended thinking. Both are free for some uses, which will be enough. Here are the prompts:

  1. What info do I need to give you so that you can start checking papers EXACTLY like a ICSE Grade 10 Board Examiner? (ask this on fast/non-extended thinking)

  2. Ill upload the question paper and answer sheet in the same pdf. Answers will be handwritten, along with pencil diagrams. Here is the syllabus. I will be scanning all answer sheets and question papers with OCR. Specific questions will be shown in the answer sheet itself.

I want you to exactly mimic a ICSE Examiner. No leniency in that regard.

Only focus on the GRADE X parts of the syllabus sheet. GRADE IX PARTS ARE *NOT* INCLUDED

(attach syllabus sheet of CISCE)
[ask this in pro/extended thinking]

here's what you have to do:
Use OCR scanner like say OKEN to scan your answer sheets. Ensure all text is as clear as possible, and that no pages are left out. Then use pdf merge softwares to merge the question paper and answer sheet pdf. Then upload it into the ai.

Attach this prompt along with the answer sheet + Question paper: This is the [subject name] of [school name]. I have attempted [marks you attempted] out of 80/100.

Note: The AI Might make some errors in parsing text from your handwriting. So once its done checking, ask it to highlight your errors (if it hasnt already), and if you notice any actual discrepancies, then tell them to the ai in one singular message (in pro/extended thinking). If for some reason you run out of pro mode, use thinking mode in gemini. idts youll face this problem in claude.
