Does anyone think the difference between p1 and p2 for edexcel english lang is huge?

I remember when we started learning it, our teacher told us that question 3 on paper 2 is the exact same as the one on p1 but its 15 marks instead of 6 and the guy next to me went "where did they spawn the extra marks from?". Like section a on p2 is almost triple section a on p1, its so wacko.
