I built a free ICP diagnostic after watching the same mistake in every "how do I get users" post

I've been lurking here for a bit and noticed a pattern. Most "I launched but have zero traction" posts share the same root cause: the founder can describe their product perfectly but can't describe their buyer.

"SaaS founders" is not an ICP. "Small businesses" is not an ICP. The first question isn't "where do I find users," it's "who specifically am I looking for and what triggered them to look for a solution."

So I built a free tool that walks you through 5 questions and generates:

  • An ICP profile (industry, company size, buyer role, budget signals)
  • Jobs-to-be-done mapping (functional, social, emotional)
  • Disqualification criteria (who to stop wasting time on)
  • Where to actually find them (LinkedIn search strings, communities, events)
  • An opening message you can use

It takes about 60 seconds. No login, nothing stored.

Built on the JTBD framework. It's not going to replace talking to real prospects, but it gives you a starting point that's sharper than "everyone who might need this."

Curious if anyone finds it useful or if the output misses something for your specific case.
