Skyrim AE – texture issue at a distance

Game: latest version of Skyrim AE.

Mod: Mari’s Flora.

I install the mod on a clean vanilla game, but I get a strange issue. After changing locations, the plants that this mod replaces glow purple at a distance. As soon as I get closer, the purple color gradually disappears and the bush or flower becomes normal, the way it is supposed to look.

What I have already tried:

•	re-downloading the mod several times from different sources

•	reinstalling the game

•	checking the installation

But the problem remains the same.

A similar issue also happens with the updated road signs by Elsopa. It feels like replacer mods that do not use ESP files (pure texture/mesh mods) are somehow working with problems in my game.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Any advice would be appreciated.
