Reapplying

7-8years ago I was living in nyc and accepted a state position. On my first day it felt like a bait and switch as my supervisor brought me to a room and said, “This is your classroom”. I was hired as a hab coordinator for OPWDD. I experienced alot of harassment and bullying, but never reported it though everyone in the building knew.

After a week or two of the harassment I called the guy who hired me to tell him I can’t do it anymore. He offered a resolution but i just couldn’t. I never snitched on the individuals for fear of retaliation.

I’ve since moved upstate where i hear state jobs/environment isn’t as bad. Is it worth applying for a state job again? Or am i now blacklisted.
