Is this possible in real life ?

Just watched the 'With Love' movie. Movie is good, but one thing that struck me in the beginning itself and kept on reoccuring is, will any girl that looks like Anaswara ever say yes to meet a guy who looks like Abishan in an arranged marriage setting? I can understand if it's a love scenario because people might meet due to various reasons and that might turn into feelings. But in an arranged marriage setting, I would assume first thing that matters are looks. The female lead also is very independent, so what would have promoted her to meet the male lead?

(Not saying the hero looks bad and doesn't deserve to be a hero, but beauty hierarchy exists in the society so wanted to know what other think)

P.S. don't come at me saying it's just a movie, I know. Answer my question.
