Commercial awareness

Commercial awareness this, commercial awareness that....

Okay, but tell me, friends...HOW are you actually building your commercial awareness?

Please don't be vague! I don't know why I find the concept so confusing.

What are y'all reading? How do you choose what to read? When do you fit it into your schedule to keep on top of it? How are we meant to know if we are truly 'commercially aware' enough?

I feel so silly whenever the subject comes up because while I know its important, I just feel lost by it all.

Where can I begin? :)
