Behold The Whatsis from Barrister and Mann is a soap I always enjoy busting out. This is not the most recent release with Lockharts Pomade so I’m not sure if they are similar or not. The Omnibus base is fantastic but what I love about this soap is the scent. It’s not quite a gourmand scent where it’s super sweet but I pick up on these notes of lemon cookies. It’s very subtle but tastefully done. The artwork of the label is awesome as well. Honestly one of the main reasons I bought this soap. It helps that it performs as well.

The brush is a new one in the den from Grizzly Bay. This is my very first badger brush in the collection and I gotta say it’s absolutely beautiful. I love the handle as I am a sucker for anything blue, but the copper accents really set this one off. The lather was subpar which is why I didn’t take pictures of it. I know there is a breaking in period with badgers so this is all new to me. For what it’s worth, the brush feels amazing when lathering onto the face. Can’t wait to get this brush to its full potential after the break in period.

The Vanguard razor from The Razor Company is one of my favorites in the den, and quite frankly I think it’s safe to say it finally dethroned my Rockwell 6S as my daily driver. Simply put, this razor flat out performs and it’s a super smooth shave every single time. Feather blade paired with the mild plate is a match made in heaven. I just love everything about this razor. The performance, how it feels in the hands, how it glides thru the soap when shaving, everything is top notch. If you don’t have one in your shave den and are in the market for a new razor, seriously consider The Vanguard. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you for following along and as always, Stay Sharp! 🪒
