rotten food?

hi guys, so my mom bought me chinese takeout and when I went to take a bite of the chicken lo mein she brought it doesn't taste good, like it smells like rotten/spoilage/vinegar, but it looks fine no mold or anything and doesn't taste bad but smells awful. i did eat a couple bites but decided to play it safe and throw it out. will i get food poisoning? (my head hurts after smelling it too)

chicken lo mein usually has a pleasent umami taste and delicious but today it just tastes weird, but looks SAFE like no mold at all.
