Cardiff or Nottingham Trent for Accounting
I’ve received two offers to study Accounting and Finance: one from Cardiff University and one from Nottingham Trent University. I’m not sure which one to choose. I’ve heard that NTU has a very good business school, and I may also have a higher chance of getting a scholarship there. Cardiff, on the other hand, is a Russell Group university, but it is much more expensive.
My dad wants me to pursue a master’s degree after my bachelor’s. He believes that once you have a postgraduate degree, the university where you did your bachelor’s degree doesn’t matter much. Because of that, he thinks I should go to a smaller university like Chester and save money. However, I’m not sure that my career path will require a master’s degree, and I don’t want to make the wrong decision.
