Will replacing my 70% condition battery on the iPhone 13 mini help with performance?

As per the title. I have a horrendous battery on my IP 13 mini, meaning I have to carry a powerbank with me at all times. The phone isn’t snappy anymore, especially after installing iOS 26. I read somewhere that a new battery might help with performance. Is it true?

I was considering getting a new phone altogether, but finances are tight right now, so I’d rather extend the life of my current device if that’s doable.
