I’m 14 and building an AI app that identifies stars with your camera — looking for feedback before launch

Hi everyone,

I’m a 14-year-old developer currently building an astronomy app called StarLens AI.

The idea is simple: you point your phone at the sky and the app helps you understand what you’re looking at.

Right now it can:

• identify stars and constellations using the camera

• show recommended night photography settings

• switch to fullscreen camera mode

• filter stars with a “Visible Stars Only” option

• explore objects and track what you’ve observed

• ask an AI astronomer questions about the night sky

I’m still improving the camera overlay and usability before launch.
