Beardie won't settle into cage at night?
So, I got a bearded dragon from people who didn't want it and I got a 4x2x2 cage. I turned it bioactive and am still making it homey for her since she is a climber. Now, every since I got this cage, she seems to realize that if she scratches at the door she gets let out and she'll do this at night too when everything is dark outside but I still have cage lights on. I take this to mean she's ready to sleep but she has only slept in her cage a few times. She seems to only like sleeping with me and I'm not sure if this is normal behavior or if I accidentally trained her to settle down and sleep with me? I know reptiles can be just as much of a pet as anything else despite what others may think.
*the house is kept at a warm temperature so her cage doesn't get below the 70's ever. She used to sleep in her net just below her basking spot. Sometimes I have to let her run around for a little longer before she settles down. I don't mind this behavior, but I want to make sure this is okay? I just want her comfortable and avoid husbandry issues. No care sheet mentions this?
