Hey all,

Here's the full rundown of my Issue and I honestly cant figure it out.

My PC build is as follows.
ASUS Prime z790 - mother board
Aero Gigabyte 4070 TI
Intel i7 13700k with fan coolers
An RAM G. Skill ddr5 64gb

Issue:

When gaming, I play a lot of tarkov and share my screen and such, under heavy load I'll smell copper. It distinctly smells like melted copper.
The graphics have lines in them, if I would get into a gun fight it would bug out lag and just be bad. But my temps never got hot enough to alarm me. Typically sits at 60°C or round about.

Also if I record a clip in game, its almost always corrupted, video isnt right and audio sounds wierd, when I go into the clips file to review it.

I bought a new (cheap) graphics card to run me until the good one came back from RMA but this one has that copper smell also when under a heavy load also. But... its not a gaming GPU I made a mistake and got a RTX 5500, which I later found out is a display only GPU. So take that with grain of salt.

Attached is a picture from inside my 4070TI. If you zoom in on the middle copper piece, it looks as off a copper cap is melted away.

If GIGABYTE won't replace my GPU ill just get a new one. But my concern is that something else is wrong burning my GPU up.
Is it possible my motherboard has problems and is frying the GPU?

Any help would be appreciated. Im lost in the sauce here.
