Seltos GTX A DCT vs XUV 7XO AX7 Petrol AT (Bangalore traffic) – need advice

Hi everyone,

I’m based in Bangalore and trying to decide between two cars that currently come out to almost the same ex-showroom price for me:

• Kia Seltos GTX+ DCT (1.5 Turbo Petrol)
• Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 Petrol AT (non-ADAS)

My usage is mostly city driving in heavy Bangalore traffic with occasional highway trips. I usually keep my cars 10–15 years, so long-term reliability and ease of living with the car matters to me.

What matters most to me

• Automatic gearbox behavior in bumper-to-bumper traffic
• Fuel efficiency in real Bangalore traffic
• 360° camera usefulness for tight parking
• Reliability / maintenance over long ownership

My dilemma

• I really want a 360° camera because parking in Bangalore can be tight.
• In the Seltos, the 360 camera is only available with the ADAS variant, which I personally don’t care much about.
• The XUV 7XO AX7 Petrol AT (non-ADAS) fits my price but I’m unsure about real-world mileage and AT behavior in traffic.

Questions for owners

1. Real-world fuel efficiency in Bangalore traffic for:
   • Seltos 1.5 Turbo DCT
   • XUV 7XO Petrol AT
2. How annoying or manageable is the DCT in stop-go traffic?
3. How useful is the 360 camera in daily city driving? Is it worth going to a higher variant just for that?
4. Any long-term reliability concerns with either gearbox?
5. If you were buying today for Bangalore city use, which one would you pick and why?

Would love feedback from actual owners, especially people who drive daily in Bangalore traffic.
