Pre hysterectomy orlissa question

Hi all I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy in early October (have to accrue enough PTO before the surgery 🙃). I have endometriosis and a progesterone allergy. My obgyn has me on orlissa to mimic the medical menopause. I did one week with my birth control, I'm on week two where I stop the birth control, and next week I add in estrogen.

We're looking to see if I am 1) allergic to the estrogen also, and 2) if I can tolerate menopause. I'm 31. I got my period yesterday and of course it sucks.

My question is: has anyone been on orlissa and estrogen prior to the surgery and if so did you have your period throughout that time or did the estrogen stop it?
