Advice re regulatory exams

Hi All,

I am 25M working in a tier 1 law firm with 2 years pqe.

I am contemplating starting preparation for regulatory exams. I am confused about whether to focus on the legal stream or the general stream.

I have zero background in commerce or accounting, as I studied PCM. However, during my legal studies I was not exposed to the rote learning of sections and provisions typically required for these exams, as the curriculum focused more on legal reasoning and theory.

So essentially, I will be starting with nearly zero prior knowledge. accordingly, wanted to get an idea if focussing on general stream would be sensible?
