People who respond to your text with a voice message when you clearly texted them for a reason This has been driving me insane lately and i needed to get it out somewhere. I texted my roommate a simple question, like a two sentence thing that required maybe a five word answer. And she sends back a two minute voice memo. I'm sitting in the library between classes, i can't play that out loud, and i don't have my headphones on me because of course i don't. So now i have to either wait until i get home to hear the answer, or hold my phone up to my ear like it's 2009 and look like a complete weirdo in the middle of a quiet study area.
And the thing that really gets me is that typing is faster for something that short. It takes longer to open the voice recorder, wait for it to load, record yourself, and send it than to just type "yeah sure go ahead" or whatever the answer is. I genuinely don't understand the logic. I've started noticing it more and more and now it bothers me every single time without fail. Like i respect that some people prefere voice messages for longer stuff, that's fine, but for a yes or no question?? Come on. Please. I am begging.
