These models are beautiful quality in most of the pictures: how?

I'll be the first to say the quality of the finished product in this sub is something else. Regardless of subject matter. But alot of them say "made with ender 3'

My question is how? I've been printing a while and couldn't get close if i tried. How are you guys getting these so smooth, and painted so well with such small detail with fdm printing?

I know about filler and sanding etc but I'm very curious how you do it with such precision
