I'm seeing so much anger and disappointment in nearly every post and discussion I come across. But I'm enjoying the current 30th anniversary and All Out event.

Someone else mentioned "expectations" in a comment. I think they were spot on. So many people are trying to catch wild legendaries hoping for PVP stats or hundo. But it's random stats. This is not an event geared towards hardcore raiders or master league battlers. It's meant for casual players who want a chance to fill their dex or have a chance at a legendary they've never caught before. Adjust your expectations and you can enjoy it too.

Walking around my local library/park for a little over an hour, I caught 4 of the 12 legendaries that I encountered yesterday. No area effects (I don't have the mons for it). Just golden razz and ultra balls. **If you throw a regular pokeball and purposefully miss the mon, they** ***usually*** **will give you a second throw if they break out of the first ultra ball you hit them with.** This is anecdotal evidence, not scientifically gathered data.

One of the 4 legendaries (above Mewtwo) could be useful and the other three have terrible stats so they are useless for raids and pvp. So I'll save them for lucky trades or remote trades. Also, I'm ***saving*** so many resources buy not catching as many Pokemon as possible like I do on community days or other similar events.

I'm enjoying the current events and I don't care who knows it.
