Find early 2000s instrumental soundtrack song?

Trying to find a song that I had on an ancient MP3 player in the early 2000s. The file names had been corrupted so they didn't have any artist info that I remember (they were just titled Sony Imagine 1 or something like that).

Instrumental track, a light orchestra without too much percussion, prominent woodwinds (the flute may have been an actual wood flute), piano, and strings. No choral part that I remember.

The main melody was very similar to the one on the piano of Auriel's Ascension by Jeremy Soule (specifically the bit between 0:30-0:45ish), but the tempo was a bit faster and the orchestra was a bit more reduced. I've listened to a lot of Soule's work, this the closest I've got to something similar. I suspect it was a game soundtrack piece or something.

Been looking for decades, wish I could play an instrument, then I'd maybe be able to supply an accurate melody!
