Credit card recommendations

Curious to know what folks here think is the best credit card to use as a high earner / relatively high spender.

I currently use Amex gold, I have about 180k points from the past few years of spending. I understand you can convert these to Avios which can be spent with British Airways, but it doesn’t seem like availability of flights is that great.

We travel a few times a year but have never really found reward flights with Avios that coincide with our travel plans. Ideally we would like to fly business class on personal travel for long haul trips, but I’m not sure of the most efficient way to do that with points.

I also increasingly travel long haul with work (business class) so am wondering if I can use those trips to reach the higher status levels with airlines.

For context our household income is c.£350-400k, around 30yo, no kids yet.
