Experiences with maisonette?

Hey guys,

Looking for an apt for the first time in tokyo and found a nice maisonnette type of house thats quite newly built. I love the place, tho my only concern is the stairs..

Anyone have experience with them on what to be careful of or what to ask the realtor? Any advice in general on what to ask or look out for is also super heltpful!

Also, do you guys think being on a first floor wil be more riskier for cockroaches?
