Improving As A Video Editor? (Seeking Direction/Advice)

How do I do this? / What's This Thing?

Hello all. I'll keep it short and concise.

I use Davinci Resolve, but not completely, I'd say I'm a beginner.

I want to understand all the aspects of this software, especially Fusion, Color and Fairlight (Audio) because they mostly seem like gibberish to me.

My long term goal is to improve as a video editor immensely.

How do I know what the next step is in terms of improving my video editing skills?

Is there any largely agreed upon difficulty levels for this sorta thing? (Such as beginners should at least be able to do X, good editors should at least be able to do Y etc.)

TLDR; My question is this: What would you say is the appropriate sequence for editing skills to evolve? (This could be subjective or objective, idek)

Or

Can anybody please direct me to something I can use for reference to know where I stand?
