prop trading didnt teach me discipline. it taught me who i actually am when money is on the line

the strategy was fine. the setups were there.

but somewhere around challenge 3 i realised the rules werent the problem. i was. specifically the version of me that existed 20 minutes after a red trade.

that guy doesnt care about the challenge. he just wants to be right.

so i stopped trying to fix my trading and started building walls around that guy instead. hard limits. automatic lockouts. no willpower required.
