How to provide large amount of photos as zip to users

I've built a service where user can upload a large amount of photos (up to 5gb for example) and I want them to be able to download all of them as bulk inside a zip (to save traffic).
Edge functions would probably time out before the job is done and I was wondering what other options I have to achieve this in a cost efficient way?
Appreciate any suggestions 🙏
