“I can’t believe we just did that.” I giggled. It’s been a month since I became my true self, since I became Alicia Wheeler. I can’t say it’s been easy, I’ve had a steep learning curve, becoming a mother and a wife.

The first day was the hardest, stepping into the Wheeler’s home. A place I’d spent a lot of my childhood, but now I walked in as its owner or well co-owner. I toured myself around; looking at the couch I’d played hundreds of hours of CoD on with Max, the kitchen I’d been snuck my first beer before finally stepping into the Wheeler’s bedroom, the only place in the house that was new to me. 

Alicia had a very well stocked walk in wardrobe, she was always very fashionable, with a wall of heels, boots, sandals, far more shoes than I’d ever had in my lifetime! 

I was looking through the clothes that now belonged to me when I jumped out of my skin, a gruff voice cleared its throat. 

“Hello.” Daniel spoke, “Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you…Al…O…what do I call you?” 

“Alicia.” I said a little nervously, Daniel was like my second Dad. He’d touch me how to play football, helped me with my first (and last) pregnancy scare and now he towered a foot above me. 

“Right…but you are-“

“Yes, well…I was.” I interrupted him. 

It was awkward for the next couple of hours, but eventually we got chatting and things felt normal for a bit. Max decided to spend the night at his girlfriend’s which gave me time to settle in before facing him as his mother. 

Daniel was insistent he’d sleep on the couch and honestly that did take a weight off but I knew that couldn’t become the norm, he’s my husband. I was worried that I’d I don’t know get the sudden urge to suck him off like I’ve heard stories about but that wasn’t the case. Though I did see him in a very different light. 

The next day I met a very wary Max, again it was awkward for a few hours but soon we found a new normal, I even managed to get a couple of rounds of CoD in, frustrated by my new nails hindering my gameplay. 

As per the clinic’s instructions I tried to follow Alicia’s routine, picking up her role in the house. This meant cooking dinner, which I surprised myself at how good of a cook I was! 

The days went on and I felt more and more comfortable. Daniel joined me in bed after a couple of nights and it was nice having his presence there. He’d been incredibly respectful, but I’ve caught him looking a couple of times…I can tell it’s difficult on him. 

One night when Max had gone to bed we were watching a movie, sat on either side of the couch. But I was cold, and his arms looked so inviting. Nervously a scooted over, lifting his arm and slotting myself against him. It felt right, a big smile across my face. 

That night I slept in his arms and it was probably the first night since the swap that I actually felt rested. Though that morning we had to have an awkward conversation about ‘us’, what we were…what I wanted to do. It was intense, I was very open about my feelings and nerves, and the whole thing ended with me crying. 

Then crying turned to kissing and soon I had straddled him, feeling his length push against my stomach. 

“Do you trust me?” He asked in a whispered tone.

And boy did it come. After a few glasses of wine I was more than ready, he carried me up the stairs laid me on our bed and made a woman out of me.
