Possible New player question about the doom collab

So I'm a doom fan and after seeing the recent collab I kinda wanted to try diablo. If I was to buy the game, would I be able to start unlocking the doom stuff or is it more higher level/late game? Is it a limited time kind of thing? Thanks in advance
