My mom did her dishes!

I try to keep her active as much as possible (she still lives in her own house) but she generally ignores my encouragement. But this week when I left her the note that said it was a fine day to clean the kitchen, she did it!! And she didn't shut the dishwasher off halfway theough the cycle to "save energy." She also swept up some dog hair! I know it's not gonna last and may be months before she'll clean anything at all again, but it's a nice surprise when it happens. Just wanted to share.
