How do you usually figure out what's wrong with your plant?

Whenever one of my plants gets yellow leaves or brown spots I end up googling random things and still can't figure out the real problem.

I'm curious how people here usually diagnose plant diseases.

Do you rely on Google, YouTube, gardening forums, or just trial and error?

Would love to hear how experienced gardeners deal with this.
