Sebastian Laurent does not believe in love.

He believes in power.
In control.
In the quiet authority that comes with being one of London's youngest and most ruthless CEOs.

Cold. Untouchable. Calculated.

People call him many things.

Heartless.
Dangerous.
Brilliant.

But never human.

Because men like Sebastian Laurent do not fall in love.

They destroy things.

---

Ojal Shikha has spent her entire life loving him.

Silently.
Stupidly.
Hopelessly.

To him, she is still the same annoying little girl who used to follow him around with oversized glasses and a stack of books twice her size.

Josh's little sister.
Little Einstein.
A kid.

Nothing more.

And Sebastian has never looked at her any other way.

Not once.

---

But time changes people.

The quiet girl with messy hair and sarcastic comebacks is not a child anymore.

She is 18 now.

And Sebastian?

He is still the same dangerous man who never lets anyone close.

Still cold.
Still impossible.
Still the one person she should stay away from.

---

Some loves grow slowly.

Some burn quietly.

And some are built on years of teasing, arguments, stubborn silence, and feelings that were never meant to exist.

Because the one rule in their world is simple.

You never fall for your best friend's sister.

Especially not when she has loved you her whole life.

---

This story is not soft.

It is messy.
Slow.
Complicated.

Full of tension, fights, secrets, and emotions that refuse to stay buried.

And somewhere between sarcasm, anger, loyalty, and years of history...

two people might discover something they were never supposed to feel.

Or destroy each other trying.

Welcome to their story. 🔥
