Tales from a friend...

I didn't expect to post here again so soon*(only 3 days after my last post)* but I showed my friend the horror story I posted*(same friend from that post btw)* and she came to me this morning in our private discord server to tell this tale about why her brother stopped being a DM. She actually asked me to post about it because she was curious what "The redditors" thought*(yes, she calls people on here that lol)* and if this issue was more common than she thought*(which I'm hoping not)*.

So the characters I will use are:

B: The Brother/DM

F: My Friend (Even though she only appears briefly in this)

Creep: The "friend" of B that is the problem in this story

BB: The Brother's boyfriend who was part of the party

Cupid: The only girl in the party who was also closer to F in age (this will become relevant I think)

So the story begins when B was hosting another game night. Him and F have an agreement with their parents that B(who is my age so he's 20 while Creep is nearly 23) is responsible for the house and taking care of F every Friday night into Saturday lunch so their parents can go out and have fun with friends for a night and B gets to play D&D while F practices her baking. This is usually all fun and games where F hears everything going on from the kitchen but usually has an earbud in one of her ears to listen to music. She brings her creations out to the table for feedback and cleans up when she's done so everyone's happy. That night, she decided on making some chocolate chip cookies while listening to some K-pop*(don't ask me, I barely understand the names of some of the songs and it confuses me)*. All of this is relevant.

That night, B narrates the party going up against the BBEG and F was noticing some minor red flags on Creep that B and BB seemed to either ignore or not notice. Like how Creep seemed to side-eye watch her go to the kitchen which she only caught briefly but was told Cupid saw it right away and was trying to figure out what exactly he was looking at. Or how Creep almost deliberately went out of his way to touch her hand when he was taking one of the cookies and even winked at her. She didn't say anything right away because she didn't want to ruin the night for B.

HOWEVER- When she went back to the kitchen to clean, she overheard this:

Creep: Hey B, when's your sister turning 18?

B: Uuh, her birthday is next month but why?

Creep: Because I've been thinking to chip away with her, if you know what I mean~ (Yes, that was apparently meant to be a pun)

B, sounding furious already: What. The. Fuck.

Creep: Oh come on, you can't tell me your sister isn't perfect wife material. She always bakes for us and when we go to the kitchen for snacks after it looks spotless!

Cupid: Dude, you realize what you're saying right now is insane... Right?

Creep: You just don't get it! B and I are bros~ I'd let him screw my sister too if I had one!

BB: That is disgusting, Creep! And B will not-

At that point B slams his hands on the table and F peeks out of the kitchen to see him grab Creep's stuff and chuck it outside.

B: Leave my house and my family alone. If you really think I'll just let you groom my sister, you belong in a mental ward.

Creep, now panicking: B, come on! It's just a little joke! Just some fun! You don't have to overreact like this!

B: Either you leave or you get a talk with the cops. OUT!!!

Creep seemed to finally get the memo and rushed out with his stuff, BB staying by B'd side to calm him down while Cupid noticed F watching and rushed to her side to see if she's okay. BB immediately grabbed B's and Cupid's phones*(they all share a passcode because they've been friends since middle school)* and blocked Creep's number on all three phones. Cupid still had to see Creep at her work place and later learned that Creep had apparently taken something before the game night but she doesn't really buy that story.

B finished the session that night with Cupid and BB defeating the BBEG and Creep's character falling into lava and dying in the first turn but after that session, the campaign was done and B didn't want to DM for only BB and Cupid so they decided to just use those nights onward to play video games together. F is secretly crushing on Cupid so she's hoping to also join in on some of their game nights to try and get closer to Cupid but I'm hoping she doesn't find this post if she ever makes a reddit account...

F, if you do find this, I'm so sorry but I ship y'all too much not to add in that last comment, please don't kill me (•﹏•;)
