DIY Sublingual minoxidil, any info appreciated ?

I know sublingual minoxidil can be compounded by pharmacists, but that’s not available where I am.

Does anyone know how people are actually doing it? Also wondering if using topical minoxidil under the tongue would work the same way pharmacologically, does it still get converted via the sulfotransferase (SULT1A1) enzyme like compounded sublingual does? Can I dissolve a tablet instead? Any knowledge is appreciated.
