Question about academic writing

Hello my fellow students,
I am writing an academic report of my prototype for a CS assessment in Harvard Style. The report must have the following structure: Introduction 1-2 pages, Methodology, Results and Discussion (2-3) pages and an Appendix where I have to paste my code. My question is, between the last paragraph of the Results and Discussion section there is half a page blank and in the next page the Appendix section starts. Should I do not leave this half page between blank or it's fine since a new section starts. My other question is, the Result and Discussion section is 3 pages and one paragraph in the next page. Is this bad for my mark or they will ingone the 3 and plus one paragraph page?
