My initial experience with Marathon (2026)

I played the first introduction level with matchmaking enabled, and the other two random people completed all the objectives while I was searching for gear. I have no idea what I was supposed to do.

I played a solo run in an effort to learn what the game wants me to do, and died quickly with no one to revive me.

Am I supposed to follow other players around to learn how to play? Or am I supposed to die over and over (losing all my gear) on solo runs until I “git gud”?
